Arts in Transit (AIT) is a community partnership program of Metro. AIT furthers Metro’s mission of “regional economic development through excellence in transportation” by creating customer-friendly, aesthetically appealing, community-oriented transit environments that are vital parts of the region and its neighborhoods. AIT accomplishes this through a place-making approach that integrates public art, urban design and community-enhancement initiatives.
