Chesterfield Arts is a non-profit community arts agency, founded in 1995 with the vision to make Chesterfield a “City of Art.” Chesterfield Arts works to foster the growth of the visual, performing and literary arts in the Chesterfield area by acting as a presenter of artists from around the region and as a catalyst for arts activity. It encourages community involvement in the arts and serves as a local resource for arts information. Since its inception, it has placed 10 sculptures in public locations throughout the City, held public art forums, staged performing and visual art programs, and held workshops in non-traditional venues such as Westfield Shoppingtown Chesterfield Mall and Faust County Park. Chesterfield Arts offers a diversity of art through changing exhibitions at The Gallery at Chesterfield Arts and the St. Louis County Public Library, Sachs Branch in Chesterfield.
